Speaking of Entrepreneurship!

Entrepreneurship has been a subject that has been emphasized a lot lately. Many seminars, trainings and even universities started to give lectures on this subject. Entrepreneurship academies were established, our state began to support entrepreneurs. The policy that the future of our economy will improve thanks to these breakthroughs has been adopted, probably because it is thought that the people who can get the country out of possible crisis situations are people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

What is entrepreneurship?

Can anyone be an entrepreneur? Who has this spirit? What is the impact of the entrepreneurial spirit on society? Is it a skill that can be acquired later? Can anyone really do everything? I mean, is the energy inside us, as written in those personal development books?

According to the books, 3 things are needed for entrepreneurship; raw materials, capital, labor. I think this is a rather biased and incomplete definition. The reason I say biased is that only a production-oriented definition is mentioned here. However, the definition of entrepreneurship has completely changed with the developing technology. Therefore, if we are going to make this definition again, I think we should make a definition entirely on character.

An entrepreneur is someone who turns crisis into opportunity. If we examine the successes of the greatest entrepreneurs, we see that they are people who have done the right job at the right time. One of the common features of these people is that they see beyond time in their work, regardless of the field. To mention other common features; We can say that they are talented, courageous and knowledgeable. What I'm going to focus on here is actually what your greatest talents are. I think their greatest talent is their high conceptual skills, that is, their thinking capacity. They can always turn these skills into concrete events. Thus, the event is no longer thought, gains a function and turns into a business model. We can say that it turns into a kind of action.
In line with all these considerations, I can say that entrepreneurship is all about character and something that comes from within. Mayan exists or it does not. An entrepreneur is not an idle journeyman. So, should we be upset if we are not entrepreneurs? Not at all. Of course, not everyone can be an entrepreneur. It would be wrong to expect that. After all, everyone has a talent in a certain field. The important thing is to realize the potential in oneself and have the ability to use it in the right place. It should not be forgotten that this country needs every useful individual. As a society, we must realize that all individuals are very valuable individually. I believe that when we can achieve this, we will become a much more peaceful, happy, successful society with high value judgments.
